It’s our job to put FUN in your vacation and thanks to our experience over the years, we’re good at what we do! We offer quality, FUN boat trips for up to 12 people, small enough we can ensure you have a great time! Whether your interest is snorkeling, sightseeing, a visit to the local islands and beaches, a private trip or dolphin watching at sunset, our friendly and professional crew will treat you like family.

Most locals will tell you that in order to really experience the beauty of Pula, you must be on the sea or beneath it. We agree!

A family looking to snorkel amazing reefs and explore hidden coves? Maybe you’re friends looking to spend a few hours in paradise, sailing around the islands or simply head out on swimming by boat. The info on the pages below will give you an idea of the boat trips that we offer. Almost every trip can be customized to encompass any or all of the activities you see there. Winds and sea conditions sometimes affect what we can and cannot offer, but our goal is always to pack as much enjoyment as we can into your precious vacation time.

Our boat is an ex-lifeboat used to save lives at sea. After retiring from sailing the world’s oceans on board a container ship we find it a new home, a beautiful Pula town surrounded by the crystal blue waters of the Adriatic.

A new FUN life start for a retired lifeboat, sailing around islands, carrying FUN people, families and friends, making them feel happy at sea.

Frequently Asked Questions

1.How long do the boat trips last? All our trips are approximately three to four hours in duration from check-in time to the time you get back to the pier.
Note: This can vary depending on sea and weather conditions.

2.How many people can you take on a trip?Each boat can accommodate up to 12 passengers. With two boats, we can take a total of up to 24 people. To operate, all tours require a minimum of 5 passengers.

3.What kind of people go out on your trips?FUN people! If you’re not FUN, better keep Googling. This may not the tours for you!

4.Is there an age limit? We apply age policy only on Snorkeling Adventure boat trip. In order to snorkel children must be 8 years or above.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. On other boat trips there are no age limit, boat "Boreas" is safe and FUN for all ages.

5.Do we need a reservation?Boat trips do sell out quickly and passenger seats are limited, so to guarantee your spot(s) we recommend that you make reservation in advance.

6.How do we book a trip?Booking a trip is simple! For advance booking send us request using our Booking form or an Email and we'll get back to you within 24 hours.
For last minute booking simply give us a Call and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

7.Can I pay cash or is it all by credit card?As we don't accept cards your cash payment is more than welcome.

8.Are private tours available?Yes, we often run private tours for groups up to 24 people wanting the boat to themselves. To inquire about booking a private tour, please send us an Email.

9.What type of boats do you have?Our boats are 7 meters long and 2.5 wide former lifeboat and a fireboat, completely renovated and modified to carry up to 12 passengers, snorkelers or divers with equipment. Powered by 40 HP engines.

10.Do your boats have shade?Yes, our boats are equipped with a hard top that provides comfortable shade.

11.Where does the boats depart from?Our boats depart from Marina Polesana, Ulica Vallelunga 90. Meeting point is in the car park behind the main reception building. Our van will be marked with an orange banner that says "Pula Boat", and our guides will be waiting for you there. If you have any trouble finding us, please call us at +385 977 755 590. 12.Is there parking available?Parking is available on-site. The hourly rate is €1.50, and the daily rate is €10.

13.How early we must arrive prior to the departure?20 minutes will give us plenty of time to get you check-ed in and boarded.

14.What if we arrive late? Can you wait for us?If the other passengers are aboard, we have to respect their time and cannot delay their departure more by than ten minutes. If you're running late, you can try to contact the crew at +385 977 755 590. Depending on the circumstances we may be able to wait for you.

15.What language do you speak on the boat?The tours are conducted in English. Don't worry, if English is not your first language, your captain is very expressive.

16.How fast do you go? We do all our boat trips at relaxing and slow pace.

17.How should we prepare ourselves and what should we bring?Bring swimsuit, sun hat, sunscreen lotion, beach towel, water shoes and positive vibe! The rest we'll take care for you.

18.Can we stow anything on the boat?Yes, we provide a dry area for your personal belongings, but there is a limited amount of room, so please only bring what you need.

19.Are drinks available on board?Yes, we offer refreshing ice-cold drinks on board, such as water and soft drinks.

20.Can we bring our own food?You're free to bring anything you would like to eat or drink as long as the amount is small and personal.

21.Is there a toilet on board?No, we strongly recommend that you use the land base facilities near the pier prior to boarding the boat.
You will have access to clean toilet facilities before departure.

22.Can we bring our dog(s)?Dogs, cats, and other animals are not permitted on our shared tours, but are welcome on private tours.

23.Is smoking permitted on the boat?Yes, smoking is allowed on the boat, provided all passengers agree.

24.Are life jackets provided?Life jackets are part of our safety equipment and are for emergency use only.

25.Will we get seasick?Not likely. We stay very close to the coast and in the summer months the sea is usually very calm. However, „Boreas“ is a small boat and is in motion most of the time. The last thing we want is for anyone to get sick so if the weather is too rough, we'll have to postpone the trip.

26.What is your season, when do you run your trips?Our season starts in May and runs through October. During the off-peak, we are subject to passenger demand and sea conditions.
During the peak (July & August) we run up to 3 trips a day.

27.Do you have a weather cancellation policy?Activity may be canceled due to severe weather. The activity usually runs in light rain and other moderate weather conditions. We may cancel the activity up to an hour before the start time in the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions. If we cancel the activity, you'll be allowed to reschedule the trip (subject to availability). If rescheduling isn't possible, you'll be refunded.

28.What is your cancellation policy?If you do not show up for your boat trip, you forfeit your money and there are no refunds. Within 48 hours of the trip departure time, no refund is available. If you call up to 48 hours in advance and need to cancel or move your trip, we'll do our best to reschedule your trip date and time. If we're unable to find an appropriate date and time for you, 90% will be refunded. If the minimum number of passengers (which is 5) are not registered, the trip it could be canceled. In such cases, we'll contact you to reschedule your trip or refund your money. Please check our Terms & Conditions for more details.
