UNDERWATER EXPLORING

 

On this Snorkeling Adventure, our friendly crew will take you to the best-selected spots where you’ll have the opportunity to explore the underwater world just beneath the surface.

 

We’ll provide you with all the gear you’ll need for your snorkeling adventure, including a mask, snorkel and fins.

 

Shortly after departing from Marina Polesana, we’ll anchor near the coast, where your snorkeling adventure begins. Before diving in, pay careful attention to the pre-snorkel briefing, as a few basic safety rules and snorkeling tips will be given.

 

Our boats are custom-built for diving and snorkeling, offering guests easy and comfortable access to and from the water.

 

Once you’re in the water, the real FUN starts. You’ll be on the lookout for a variety of underwater life—from vibrant fish to fascinating creatures like sea urchins, starfish, sea cucumbers, and more …

 

Keep in mind, your guide can’t control nature—but he’ll do his best to show you as much as possible and pack your snorkeling adventure with FUN!

 

There are spots where we’ll search for octopus hiding in rocky holes, or drift along the rugged coastline in shallow waters, discovering tiny sea creatures. With a bit of luck, we might even spot vibrant sea slugs—or a seahorse! How awesome is that?

 

In deeper waters, larger predatory fish might appear, chasing smaller ones—or a massive shoal could suddenly sweep past us. It’s a breathtaking experience!

 

Ice-cold soft drinks will be served during the cruise.

WATCH DOLPHINS AT SUNSET

 

On this unforgettable Dolphin Watching trip our friendly crew will take you on a cruise just off the coast of Brijuni Islands to enjoy a close-up view of playful dolphins jumping with a spectacular sunset in the background. Grab your camera and hop aboard.

 

Before departure, enjoy a welcome drink—homemade brandy served with a smile.

 

Our crew will give you an introductory briefing so you’ll know what to expect and what is the best practice for responsible dolphin watching. It’s very important to us not to disturb the animals with our boat but to watch them in their natural habitat.

 

Please remember—we’re the visitors, the dolphins are our hosts.

 

As we make our way out from Marina Polesana to the open sea, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of Pula’s highest sea cliffs.

 

Once we’re away from the coast, our crew will start searching for dolphins in the calm waters around the islands—an area where dolphins are often spotted on the surface or located with the use of specialized acoustic technology. When conditions are right, we deploy a hydrophone to capture the dolphins’ special whistles and high-frequency clicks. Our average sighting rate for bottlenose dolphins on this trips is over 80%.

With their playful and acrobatic natures, bottlenose dolphins bring a smile to everyone’s face. Sometimes we just can’t tear ourselves away! These curious sea creatures may even approach our boat and bow-ride, or show us their cool tricks, if we’re lucky. Get your camera ready!

 

During the cruise, ice-cold soft drinks, wine or beer will be served.

 

During an encounter with dolphins, we photograph cuts and scars on their dorsal fins, which are unique to each dolphin, like a fingerprint. Bottlenose dolphins usually live in the same habitat so no matter how many times you come back, you’re likely to reunite with the same group of dolphins!
